CAT Syllabus

When you try to find CAT syllabus in any of the publicly available data, you will be surprised that hardly anything exists. This is what CAT 2015 notification had to say about it:

“There will be three sections, ‘Quantitative Aptitude (QA)’, ‘Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR)’ and ‘Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC)’.”

Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) have not revealed the exact syllabus of CAT in any of their earlier notifications. Time and again, it was only mentioned that candidates would be tested on aptitude and verbal skills, taught at school level. This is also the main reason why CAT is believed to be cracked by graduates of any stream provided they have the right set of skills and temperament.
